Amsterdam is a fairytale of canals and bridges. I made this drawing as the last tour boat sailed along the Prinsengracht during the Pandemic. The city was never so quiet. I loved capturing the vibrancy of life in the trees, buildings and rippling water despite the lack of tourists and people racing along the streets of bikes. Amsterdam is a city that feels like it’s always moving, Even with (what felt like) no-one in it, it’s always “bloomin’” ALIVE.
