View from 't Zand

Seat with a view... This is a wee crosspoint near the famous Koppelpoort (water-gate to the city). You'll catch most people (quite rightly) snapping away, taking photos of the medieval gate. But here I am facing the opposite direction to scribble. The big shady tree, leaning buildings, cobble stones, an old storybook lamppost and a wobbly city bike bumping over the bridge. These are a few of my favourite things... to draw. This is the View from t' Zand. Also. Just out of shot is a little bakery that sells the BEST (vegan) croissants and orange chocolate brownies in Amersfoort.
